Description
Sunflower seeds are the edible seeds of the sunflower (Helianthus annuus). They are located in the heart of the sunflower head, enclosed in a black and white striped or all-black skin, depending on the type of sunflower. Sunflower seeds are rich in healthy fats, protein, fiber, vitamins (such as vitamin E and B vitamins), and minerals (such as magnesium, phosphorus, and selenium). They are also a good source of antioxidants.
