Description
Japanese Ceremonial Matcha Hisui Bio is a ceremonial tea powder (from the green tea leaves of the Camellia Sinensis tea plant) from Japan. The name “Hisui” means “nuclear” and reflects the intense and rich flavor of this tea. This high quality Matcha is selected and picked by hand. Grinding is also done at low speed.
Matcha naturally contains a small amount of caffeine. A standard cup of Matcha tea containing 1 gram of Matcha tea powder is approximately equivalent to a quarter cup of coffee.
PREPARE MATCHA TEA
Dissolve 1gr to 1.5gr of matcha powder per 100ml of water. The water should ideally have a temperature of 70 degrees.
The matcha powder only needs to steep for about 20 seconds.
Matcha has a slightly sweet umami taste.
CULINARY USE
Besides as a tea, you can also use Matcha in lattes, pancakes, cakes and other dishes you want to give a green color.
