Description
Gentian root or Gentiana lutea is derived from flowering plants in the genus Gentiana , which includes more than 400 species. This plant grows preferentially in the higher elevations of Europe, Asia and America. Gentiana flowers come in a variety of beautiful colors, but only the root is used for medicinal purposes.
