Hydrolate Blue Chamomile Organic – 200ml

The hydrolate of blue chamomile (Matricaria recutita) is a particularly mild floral water with a soft, spicy fragrance and a strong calming effect on both skin and mind. This hydrolate is extracted via steam distillation from the flowers of true camomile and is known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Hydrolates are the aqueous, aromatic by-product of steam distillation. They contain the water-soluble, active ingredients of the plant and are particularly mild, thus also suitable for sensitive skin.

Applications

• As a soothing facial toner for sensitive, irritated or red skin
• In baby care (e.g. diaper rash, red buttocks, skin folds)
• As a calming mist for inner turmoil or emotional tension
• In the bath water or as a soothing spray before bedtime
