Martine Van Huffel is a professional herbalist whose goal is to share her knowledge of the medicinal effects of herbs and plants with as many others as possible. To this end, she combines her experience as a nurse, a thorough training as a herbalist and a collaboration with her husband-veterinarian.

She runs her own herbalist practice and became a senior lecturer in herbal medicine at the European Academy of Natural Health as well as at several Syntra branches. She not only shares her knowledge with her students, but also transmits it in numerous lectures and workshops at home and abroad. She also organizes herbal courses in France for herbalists.

Dr. Veerle Jacobs graduated as a veterinarian from the RUG in 1987. From 1995 to 2000 she trained in homeopathy at the VSU in Ghent. Afterwards, Veerle took the course Use of Herbs in Animals with Martine Van Huffel.

As a veterinarian, Dr. Veerle Jacobs always works holistically, using complementary therapies such as homeopathy, flower therapy, herbal medicine, Schussler salts, frequency therapy in various forms and spagyrica. This always with her veterinary training in mind.
