Description
Black Tea Darjeeling FOP organic takes its name from the place where the tea is grown, which is the region of Darjeeling in the Indian state of West Bengal. This high-quality fine-leaf tea is grown there from the slopes of the Himalayas.
Darjeeling tea has long been an exclusive black tea widely consumed mainly in England and other countries of the former British Empire. Through careful cultivation, this Black Tea Darjeeling organic obtains its characteristic aroma: fruity, spicy and a small slightly acidic typical Darjeeling edge.
FOP stands for Flowery Orange Pekoe and refers to a high-quality tea, mainly used with black tea. It denotes young, bud-like leaves with a delicate and refined flavor. “Orange” symbolizes quality and has no link to oranges, while “Pekoe” refers to the fine hairs on the young tea buds.
