Description
Marigold or Primula Veris is still a fairly “young” herb within modern phytotherapy. Originally, Primula Veris was only used to give beer a wine a fragrant bouquet. Only later did it become known to us that this beautiful flowering plant can also be used for its soothing effect on respiratory tracts.
The name “Key Flower” arose from the legend that this flower first grew where St. Peter dropped his keys to Paradise ? By the way, the bunch of flowers is also somewhat reminiscent of a bunch of keys. Keyflower is also known as St. Peter’s wort and the Germans call the little plant “Himmelschlüssel.
