Description

Horsetail, also known as horsetail or field horsetail, is a fascinating plant belonging to the genus Equisetum. This ancient herb has barely changed since prehistoric times and is known for its toughness and resilience. Although it can be difficult to remove horsetail from the garden, this plant certainly deserves our attention. Horsetail is packed with silica, providing valuable benefits for our musculoskeletal system, hair, nails and more.

Prepare lavender tea organic

Making a tea (or infusion) is an ideal way to benefit from the beneficial effects of organic horsetail.
This way, you can easily prepare a cup of healthy moorland organic tea:

  • 2 teaspoons or 3-5 grams of horsetail per cup.
  • Pour over with hot (just not boiling) water.
  • Allow 15 minutes to infuse so that the active ingredients can be properly released.
  • Strain and Serve: Strain the tea and drink up to 3 cups a day.

Combinations with Horsetail

Horsetail tea can also be combined with other herbs for an enhanced effect. Try it in a urine-infused blend with meadowsweet, nettle, birch, elderflower and juniper.

Additional Applications

You’ll also find horsetail in our Joints Herbal Tea, where it adds its beneficial properties to a compound blend for joint health.

Sustainable packaging

Our herbs are packed in compostable bags that are airtight and resealable, so that the flavors and fragrances are optimally preserved. The pouches do not let sunlight through, ensuring the efficacy of the herbs. With our sustainable packaging, we seek to minimize our carbon footprint without sacrificing quality.

Attention for a moment

Although horsetail offers many benefits, it is important to observe some precautions:

Avoid High Doses in Pregnancy: Use Horsetail in moderation during pregnancy.
Not in Oedemas caused by Heart or Kidney Disease: Avoid use in edemas caused by heart or kidney problems.
