Description
Pai Mu Tan, also known as “White Peony”, is a refined specialty within the world of white tea, originating from Fujian province, China. This tea comes from the Chaicha or Narcissus tea plant and is loved for its delicate processing. After picking, the leaves are simply dried, which provides the characteristic taste and aroma without the intervention of modern technological processing methods.
The tea leaves are striking in their appearance, with a variety of green shades, a voluminous structure and numerous silvery white points. When the tea is brewed, a shimmering amber-colored cup is created with an elegant, spicy taste. This tea is a true delicacy and ideal for moments of relaxation or as an accompaniment to light meals.
