Description
Green Tea Earl Grey is the “green” version of the usually better known Earl Grey made from black tea. Earl Grey is named after British Prime Minister Charles Gray (March 13, 1764 – July 17, 1845). He learned about this tea during a diplomatic trip to China. Once back in England, Charles Gray liked to use this bergamot-enriched tea to impress the British elite. As such, it quickly became a popular drink among the British aristocracy and later the entire population. Earl Grey, meanwhile, is one of the most popular teas in the world.
Earl Grey is actually a blend of different teas but always enriched with Bergamot. We choose here from a composition with green tea because it has a positive impact on health. Green tea is rich in so-called polyphenols, a group of antioxidants that protects against cardiovascular disease.
